University of New Mexico (UNM) is renowned for its research committed to finding unique solutions to complex problems. McGEA consortium includes members of the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology that provide expertise in metallobiochemistry with the focus on: 

• variable-temperature, variable-field magnetic circular dichroism (MCD), 
• low / variable-temperature electronic absorption, multifrequency EPR and X-ray absorption spectroscopies, 
• variable temperature/field magnetic susceptibility and magnetization measurements.
